Midsummer Mood...on my SSS


My Mid-summer Celebration

Yes! Sweden was on holiday on the 24th June 2011. Time to celebrate the 2011 Midsummer. It was nice weather, although it wasn't a hot day but it was pleasant day.

Here was my day with family & friends...
The day started with this--sunshine!!! Outside home---
Gazebo catches pretty shadow... Then in vicinity courtyard...
Our Maypole stand still...
Then, sun hid under the dark clouds...
Lil Liz could only showed her subtle me too...
GH & lil Liz aren't so happy with the sun, huh?

Suddenly, SHINES! & had a happy faces

While chasing shadows, I saw these men w/ midsummer wreath, cool!
Swedes listened to the midsummer songs

Now, hang on at my cousin's place for dinner & games...
Went out for to glimpse a lil sunshine...

THIS MORNING MIDSUMMER DAY...
Cool sunshine welcomes me in my reading nook...
But... an hour later, do you believe it?HAILING...
Anyways, I am indoor and it doesn't bother me... I use to tell my family, " there's nothing bad weather, put on the right gears and everything will be OK"

    All the outdoor activities were captured and enjoyed before the hail - excellent timing! Local celebrations under a (mostly) sunny sky are to be enjoyed - we were at a local street fair today, and the sun seemed to have everyone in a fine mood! Your outdoor buffet looks delicious, the party attendees hopefully brought their appetite!

    You are so right, there is no bad weather, as long as we have weather, all is good.
    Love your midsummer festivities and great shadows, especially of the people on the bench listening to the song. What would summer be without the contrast of a good thunder-storm and hail? You show us so many beautiful shadows inside and out. A great post!

    Så midsommarfina ni är, ser att du firat midsommar precis så där mysigt som det ska vara. Har tittat jättenoga på dina bilder, vet att min faster gillar och gå på såna fester. Har en kusin, Lena och hennes man bor också nära dig.
    Och vilka hagel! Otroligt att det kan bildas så stora på sommaren.

    Chie - your family (as well as yourself) always throw the BEST parties!! The festival looks great - the hail, not so much! But you're right - put the right gear on and you should be good!!

Roses & peoniesses

Ready for another party!' It's been so busy from my part of the world. Summer means for us more work who are not in holiday. So, been working like crazy again, with my 2 students helping. It's a kinda cool, though. HERE IS MY SHARE FOR TODAY... A very quick done coz it's raining soon §:-) Started with some romantic bling I so love the color lilac with a touch of green, right? My centerpiece is a new 2 tier cakestand Start drizzling, so my sandals are a bit slippery, *giggles Simple With some of my treasure = pretty Pioness and roses are newly picked on the backyard I love setting outside... falling leaves is a great outdoor settings A glimpse of my treasures Simple, cheap and yet elegant       Wanna join? A dreary day ---Tea for 2 on My TS # 36, 2010

Hurray! Another day come to an END! Oh yeah... you heard it right, ladies? Hope everybody have/had a wonderful mid-week... in my part, it was a bit of a hectic week. New dealing system, new staffs & etc- etc... Anyhow, I tackled the problems that came across & continue my journey hugging it in a positive way. Feels a lot better rather than complaining. I just make my days lightening UP with my activities, dancing Zumba, Power Yoga, Driving lessons, Step Up & jogging... in this way, I gain more a healthy body & wellness of being ME. About you, Sweeties? What is your secret of lightening UP your days? FEELING GOOD IN A COZY TEA FOR 2 Chocking! An early snowfall! In my open porch... Hmmm.... duno---what am I thinking of? But, it must be cozy! From this? To this? A modified cloché for my goodies... ---------------------------------------------------------- And now, silverware parade is on the GO! Swedish silver tray & my Conran bowl... Conran silver mug (set of 4) ...

Födelsedag Kalas/BDAY Party

Jag önskar att alla mina bloggvänner kunde komma och njuta den goda asien mat och umgås. Hoppas dem som i närheten hos mig kunde komma. Det är öppet hus från kl. 17.00 till den sista gästen går. How i wish th a all my blogmates could come to my party to enjoy the palatable asian/scandinavian dishes & of course, mingle. Hope to those who are just around Stockholm can come over. It's actually an open house, so... just drop by for a sip or two. Open till wee in the morning... Iaf, njut av dem bilderna och föreställ att Ni är hos mig i trädgården... §.-))/ ENjoy the pix below & pretend that you're at my garden, enjoying... Bilderna är liknande till mina planer... The pics are almost as what I'd planned, decors, setting, menus... finger buffets, grills, drinks & of course fruit buffet for dessert. Bara ta plats TJEJER och ha en skön dag!
