FUN WEEK-END... Y ES! At last, at least today, we had an enjoyable sunny day. Our week-end started at the kitchen with a little chat with Lil Missy who arrived yesterday from the uni for a summer holiday in the big city. I booked our Saturday for pampering. GH, Lil Missy and myself, went for mani-padi mood. We really need to do some updates. Now, we know that next week, it is Midsummer and it means a big day for the Swedes coz summer time and the summer vacation starts. Some take 4 weeks in a row and save a week either for Autum break of Christmas break. Me and GH choose to divide our vacation weeks. We could have a long week-end by air or by car for off roading, anyways.  Very interesting driving in different countries in Europe. Just hoping Mother Nature can share us a wonderful summer weather. As You may see... A s I posted in the weekend, Sweden celebrated it's National Day and we had a great sunny day with good food, fun time with my family and cheering the Royal Family. I n D´BoX, we had just a simple celebration. The table is just for the 4 of us, D´Nics. There's nothing much drama. It was just a Swedish simplicity that rule on the top of our table. HERE WE HAD OUR WAY... The nearest and the best I can have as our centerpiece... French Lily is very Swedish. I know, almost Swedish home collect this vintage flatwares Pizza plates as the charges, dinner plates, very Swedish and of course the salad plates, makes the table perfect for the theme...  I don't have napkin rings for the theme, so I grabbed the gift ribbon and tied it to the napkins... Nothing much happening... Y es! another day of a new week come and it started with a skyfall. Jesus! again? A rainy morning? I supposed to invite my best chums at work and planned to grill and have a garden party but unfortunately, Mother Nature don't allow me to enjoy just for a day with friends (sort of)!  Do I whine? Do you think I am complaining much this days? Maybe sometimes? It seems I am almost desperated for a sunny and warmer days. We had a long and cold winter and for me, it means sickness.  Anyways, I couldn't do anything with the weather, can I?  So here's my day in a dreary Day! This was taken on the 6th of June 2013... Yes, it was another year of a National Day and birthdays of my late dear Mum,  our son Kj and niece Georgina. Sweden celebrate the Nat Day of a not so cool as other countries, or not that cool like other Scandinavian countries. But we had an enjoyable time, by the way. The sunny and warm day makes more awesome feelings and that matters. Here was our National Day... Swedes and tourist waited calmly (that's the Royal Castle) in the heart of Stockholm Royal guard parade infront of the Swedish King & His family   This is the His Majesty King & Queen with the youngest Princess Madeleine and her fiancee, Chris O´Neil an American. They will marry today 8th of June... Princess Victoria, Queen to be her family (hidden) and younger brother Prince Philip. I cheered her name and I got the best shot. Swedes like her the most...
