Freaky FRIDAY

OMGIF!!! Jo, det är verkligen fredag och den ska firas med min "Frekkis Fredag".
När jag har börjat med böker så ska jag visa en annan konst av böker.
En kille från LA är så begåvad, tycker jag IAF och verkligen avgudar med hans konst av gamla böcker.
Några ex visar jag nedan...

Med hjälp av bläck, färgkrita, acrilyc, gouache och lack Mike Stilkey skildrar ett melankolisk och ibland nyckfull gjutna tecken som lever tvetydig utrymmen och berättelser av fantasi och sagor. Hans arbete påminner om Weimar-eran tysk expressionism och hans stil har beskrivits av vissa som fånga funktioner för konstnärer alltifrån Edward Gorey till Egon Schiele.




OMGIF! Yes, it really is Friday and it will be celebrated with my "Frekkis Friday". A very talented LA based Mike Stikley... he have a JOB well DONE arts out of old books. Pls check his artworks. Fascinating, huh?
Using ink, colored pencil, acrilyc, gouache and lacquer Mike Stilkey depicts a melancholic and at times whimsical cast of characters inhabiting ambiguous spaces and narratives of fantasy and fairy tales. His work is reminiscent of Weimar-era German expressionism and his style has been described by some as capturing features of artists ranging from Edward Gorey to Egon Schiele.

What is Saturday/Sunday if we don't chase the most important shots for the w/end, huh? Luckily, when I just woke up, I saw a lil sunlight. Lil L shouted, too! "MUM! hurry... Welcome to Stockholm on my SHADOW SHOTS SUNDAY

Y es!!! Today, Sunday, me & hubby went to an early (08.00) Catholic Mass in the heart of Stockholm at Kungsträdgården (King's Garden). A quite and cosy mass w/ at least 50-60 attendeés. After the mass, we strolled in the park where you can see a blooming "Japansk körsbärsträd- JAPANESE CHERRY TREES" in it's high bloom. I feel so Asian §:-)) I meant, I felt am in Japan *giggles P LS. A dreary day ---Tea for 2 on My TS # 36, 2010

Hurray! Another day come to an END! Oh yeah... you heard it right, ladies? Hope everybody have/had a wonderful mid-week... in my part, it was a bit of a hectic week. New dealing system, new staffs & etc- etc... Anyhow, I tackled the problems that came across & continue my journey hugging it in a positive way. Feels a lot better rather than complaining. I just make my days lightening UP with my activities, dancing Zumba, Power Yoga, Driving lessons, Step Up & jogging... in this way, I gain more a healthy body & wellness of being ME. About you, Sweeties? What is your secret of lightening UP your days? FEELING GOOD IN A COZY TEA FOR 2 Chocking! An early snowfall! In my open porch... Hmmm.... duno---what am I thinking of? But, it must be cozy! From this? To this? A modified cloché for my goodies... ---------------------------------------------------------- And now, silverware parade is on the GO!
