We Are Moving OUT on Mother's Day..

Those words sounds scaring in ears, huh?

"Vi flyttar ut"! It is a very common say-so words in Swedish, specially in Spring and Summer time. Yeah! We are moving out! This doesn't mean that D´Nics are moving out from D´Box, without just our simple exterior furnitures and blings.

Mother Spring is here and visit Sweden and it seems she will stay (at least for awhile). Hope she will stay a little bit longer though, b4 Summer comes. It was absolutely fun working to the max and I feel so contented and it worth every drop of my sweat.

HERE IS MY DATE, until 8pm Today...
I started to wash the open porch last May 1, ready for oiling after it dries...
Here is the after oiling. Not really the best flooring. Ex-owner was not too picky
Grill is still covered and the lounge set was disinfected (washed &wiped clinically)
How does this look? Soon finish?
 I am so happy to see the outcome of my hard work...
Just loving my centerpiece. 
Hydrangea stand beautifully and GH flops is ready to serve us...
 Poor, bird's bath! Really in need of pampering. "I will be there soon..."





As you can see, it took me several hours cleaning, disinfecting, hanging those sheer curtains, vacuum the cushions, etc etc. But, hey! we also had time to enjoy the cozy moment and had our tea premier at the open porch. Scandinavia celebrates Mother's Day on the 26th, but as a Filipina, I was raised with todays' date and all of my family & friends sent greetings, so GH told me, that after we finished we could seat and enjoy to end the week-end. Hope you all have a wonderful day filled with love and enjoyment together with your dear ones.

    I agree with Marty! Everything is so beautiful and especially the gazebo with the tulle. I noticed you have a Voluspa candle; my favorite! I hope your day was a day of rest. You deserve special treatment after all of your hard work.

    What a romantic and beautiful spot! Love those sheer curtains and your setting of black and white. Our small deck and stairs need to be re-stained and I dread that chore! You did a beautiful job getting yours ready for the summer!!

    CHIE!!!!!!!!!! This is FABULOUS! Oh, my gosh! It is absolutely one of the prettiest outdoor settings I have ever seen! You did a FANTASTIC job!!! My Mom is working on her decks and patio right now, so I am going to send her the link to your post for ideas. She will love it!!!!!!

    The netting is such a great idea! I don't know if you get mosquitoes there in Sweden, but here in the Midwestern United States, they can get really bad in the summertime. I would love to have something elegant like this to keep them at bay.

    Your tea setting is so pretty...I would feel right at home out here on your gorgeous deck!

    You did a great job with the flooring there, too. No worries that the previous owner didn't pick out the best wood...you have it all covered up with this beautiful furniture and gazebo!

Ready for another party!' It's been so busy from my part of the world. Summer means for us more work who are not in holiday. So, been working like crazy again, with my 2 students helping. Födelsedag Kalas/BDAY Party

Jag önskar att alla mina bloggvänner kunde komma och njuta den goda asien mat och umgås. Hoppas dem som i närheten hos mig kunde komma. Det är öppet hus från kl. 17.00 till den sista gästen går. How i wish th a all my blogmates could come to my party to enjoy the palatable asian/scandinavian dishes & of course, mingle. Hope to those who are just around Stockholm can come over. It's actually an open house, so... just drop by for a sip or two. Open till wee in the morning... Winter on Springtime on TTT and TS- Welcome to our new Entrance Hall

They said: April weather is absolutely deceiving... And that was we HAD experienced last Friday pm and the whole day on Saturday. Well, for us? It is not really unusual. You know why? When I planned a party? Beat me if the weather will join the fun? 90% was not fun at all, as far as I remember. So, that's it! Lil Missy's party became a winter party. We prepared for a BBQ, but if you see our back porch (week-end's photos) if you want to see, pls scroll down, thank you--- " it was not fun" . Well...well... but party must go on, right? And we had a great time anyways. And that matters. Some shots here and there... I been bragging since awhile about our DIY "Entrance hall". On top is a 23 yr old punch bowl, a wedding present from a dear cousin base in LeMoore, CA German crystal cut mini apothecary jars... A new member of D´Box... shabby chic dresser. Inside it is a radiator for floor heater... Just more views... don't mind the...
