Notes From My Heart...

Hello all gorgeous ladies in Blogielandia...

As you all know, this month is a black month of my family. Losing a dear Mamâ is not easy and letting her go either. But I know mourning for her is the only way I can do and we all know, sooner or later, we all end our lives. Just so sad that heart break into million pieces. But I know, Mamâ don't want me and my siblings to be sorry for long coz we know that her sweet bitter memories will stay in our hearts forever.

ANYWAYS...

My theme this week is notes B&W...
It was awhile, been looking for this kind of cloth... to no avail. At least in Sweden
Until GH (great hubby) brought me to IKEA day after Ma's death,  just to make me forget the sorrows in my heart. Round white tablecloth is from Malta.
A very simple centerpiece with glittered acorns and ornaments.
Black wine glasses are from Åhlen's and drinking glasses IKEA
Cupcake cloche stands from Chili, newly purchased...
I found that my coastal flatwares fit for the theme today.
Even adorn the chandy with this color combo
Wooden candlesticks are from Lagerhaus, local store... Pier 1 in the US
Outcome of my simple settings. Can you see my pain?

I set the table for four, knowing that my good friend from Fort Lauderdale, Florida is coming tonight with another good friend from the Philippines to visit me. Thank you so much for the visit, ladies? Thank you for letting me cry on your shoulders, tell my agonies, story about how I handle the pain.  Your presence are well appreciated. You both are a true friends and true friends are hard to find specially these tough days. God bless you.

  5. Oh honey, I'm so sorry to hear you lost your dear mother! Losing a mother must be the hardest thing that happens to a child, at any age. My heart goes out to you and my prayers so you can find confort, as your dear mother is happy in HIS arms right now, where there is no pain. Your table is so beautiful in black and white, like in morning. The cupcake cloche is adorable and so are the dishes and tabletopper. You always make the most beautiful tables.
