Shopping on 4th of July in Stockholm

It is indeed fun...

I absolutely amazed that Sweden started to sell stuffs from the US.

Unfortunately, I couldn't purchase although I would love to have some of the goodies...

So, what I did? Well, I just drooled!!!

Another summer, another year of a quiet moment in Stockholm Underground/Metro...
This was taken about 10.30 am. I am not sure where are all the people go?
Lil Missy & MOTH are "People in Black". Father-in-law's funeral today.
MOTH decided to brought us to stroll in my fave shops...then head for lunch
Hmmmm... a liter of coffee? It'll keep me, indeed awake! LoL*
Suddenly, we ended in a shoe store...

MOTH asked Lil Missy if she wish to have one each style... Guess?
She said: "If I live in the US, I won't say no, but lving in Europe?"
In this stage, I would say, "thanks Dad, but no thanks"...
Then, we move to furniture shops...
Isn't this cute and patriotic? Summer LOVE---

Wherever I looked around, there are American flags, nautical theme and the colors...
I might say, "this is just starting. Hope more international products".
Then, when we came home...
Cooked my own raspberry jam. This time, with sweet, fresh and lemony flavor...
See the jam ladle rester? It's from New Orleans... thanks cousin Glyn for the gift...
And I continued my evening with American theme...
*** Raspbery jam with lemon flavor
*** Rhurbarb-strawberry compote and dash of ginger

Hope you All enjoy your long weekend, dear American friends.

Joining and sharing my day with SSS2
Thank You, Ladies for entertaining us All...
Keep up the good work.

  3. I can't believe that an underground carriage would be empty of people--but not of shadows, of course!

  4. Wow - Stockholm is as full of the red, white and blue as is the USA! I like the colors all by themselves and a represents the color of our flag, although I would not wear a pair of the stars and stripes Converse canvas shoes (they are just too tacky :). Your family is lovely indeed!

  5. Yum, yum, yum!! All of it! I don't think I'd wear those shoes though. I like my shoes to have a quiet kind of statement.

  9. An incredible amount of US merchandise for sale. I wonder if it will stay there as a permanent line after July 4. And I have never seen a train carriage so empty. Even after peak hour, it takes a short time for our trains to fill.

  12. Hello Chie,

So sorry for your family's loss.

It is surprising that so many US products are being sold outside the US. Who buys them? Tourists from US?

I love all the blues. Thanks for sharing.

    Have a Happy Blue Monday!

Having a BALL in our Outdoor cozy lounge...

AT LAST!!! Isn't it an easy life when our weather is not that HOT or too COLD ? ***  Det är så underbart liv när vädret tillåter. Absolut man får njuta det ljuva livet i solen. This is the time when I move our lounge outdoor and just loving to pamper it with my simple way and a dash of a chic style (at least) I feel it. *** En härlig dag sån här årstid. Jag flyttade vardagsrummet i uteverandan och den älskar jag. En enkel stil med en liten chic-touch! Here is my new outdoor LOUNGE!!!   Me & GH went for a morning walk (as always)   Preparing for a cozy outdoor lounge... I move the buffé table and gathered my treasures...  I gathered all my pensies in my galvanized tray... Inherited--- A Vintage and Delicate Treasure

A sofisticated to my eyes... When I was young, I know what we had on top of my family's table. I don't really care what kind of treasures we had? I just remember that my grandfather had a very fine china set and unfortunately ended to a wrong greedy grandchildren, my first cousin's wife. Mum inhereted some of the set and as I recall she adored them till her last breath. If I am still living in The Philippines, I would love to keep them by myself. Hopefully, dear sis will adore as Mum does. Then, my new life started when I marry GH and move to Stockholm, Sweden 25 yrs ago. I know my love of kitchen/tables gadgets, i.e. household utensils, deep in my heart. It was already forseen by many of our friends--- my pedantic way and the love of a house to make it a home. I thank you Mum for that. It is true the saying " what we had experienced from our childhood, is what we get when we have our own" ? Well, when GH mother passed away 2 decades ago, GH inherite

Then, when we came home, nothing can stop US... GH fix the gazebo in the mini-house in the garden... And the real witch is busy with her chores! Guess she is ready to party!
