Brand New Start...

Indeed...

Isn't it amazing to have a brand new --- "every little thing in life"? Am I rinsed or what? But, hey! Pope Francis had been in his Asian journey and He was in The Philippines for 5 days. A BIG applause...

It was IMPRESSIVE, for being The Philippines, known as one of the most critical area in ASEA. I can tell you, my dear folks, that although, I live more than half of my life in Sweden, I am still very proud, to say, I am a true blooded Filipina. YeeeY! Anyways, it was a great pleasure and honor for the whole  country and I am hoping that the great Papal visit will be an eye opener, his words of wisdom and humanity applies in every heart of the Filipino people. Mabuhay...

I don't have signature dishes today because even our Pope hesitated to ate in a proper manner, when He visited the devastated Tacloban...

So, my table is as simple as it is...
I started with my forgotten tablecloth... just loving the embroidery.
I covered it with a lace-y cloth for a more romantic touch.
My Christmas present for myself... Coventry fine porcelain. Heart them.
I purchased a set of 6 and was sad, I could grabbed for 8... hope I can find more.
Of course, more angles, for you to see the simple beauty...
B4 I forgot, I gathered elements that I feel, it fit to my dishes...
See my lamp? It almost the same apart from brownish in color...

BTW, I have a little project that I am working and have to share with you the starting...
Remember, I went to baking school last Fall? Anyhow, I learnt lots of  tricks and tips on how to make sugarpaste flowers and etc. Here are my new babes. I was experimenting my new cake recipe that I call "Chocoffee". It came out delicious and I will post it next time. So, hope you drop by once again.

I am joining Marty's party today:
Thank You Kathryn for the great party too...
Thanks Susan for hosting one of my oldest meme...

Enjoy your day, my beautiful World...

Inherited--- A Vintage and Delicate Treasure

A sofisticated to my eyes... When I was young, I know what we had on top of my family's table. I don't really care what kind of treasures we had? I just remember that my grandfather had a very fine china set and unfortunately ended to a wrong greedy grandchildren, my first cousin's wife. Mum inhereted some of the set and as I recall she adored them till her last breath. If I am still living in The Philippines, I would love to keep them by myself. Hopefully, dear sis will adore as Mum does. Then, my new life started when I marry GH and move to Stockholm, Sweden 25 yrs ago. I know my love of kitchen/tables gadgets, i.e. household utensils, deep in my heart. It was already forseen by many of our friends--- my pedantic way and the love of a house to make it a home. I thank you Mum for that. It is true the saying " what we had experienced from our childhood, is what we get when we have our own" ? Well, when GH mother passed away 2 decades ago, GH inherite
