White Dreams, A Fantastic Love

Som jag alltid säger "när man har mycket att göra, så dagarna sussar bara förbi" och så swoosshh! Är det helg snart §:-)) dessutom vädret är mycket givandet. Jag känner mig som en annan människa och levande. Livet runt omkring mig ger mig styrka. Folk blir glada och trevliga. Hoppas detta håller till nästa vecka när jag är ledig. IAF, jag säger bara... "ut och ha det roligt för sommaren är kort".

Men, varken regn eller sol så drömmer jag hejdlös. Näää... skönt att få drömma också. Jag som alltid är glad oavsett hur jag mår, älskar att dagdrömma. Ingen som kan hindra mig med det. Idag så är jag förtjust i vit. Mitt pågående projekt är att måla om furupaneller i trapporna upp och trapporna ner i källaren sen alla dörrar. Jo, det är lätt att byta nyköpta och färdiga dörrar men, så klart! Lilla Moi vill ha ett enkelt och personligt karaktär hemma. "Vad annars?" höjt gubben min.

Så här ser mina vita drömmar idag och jag bara önskar:

Welcome Home...Ladies!

I wish to have such a spacious dressing room, don't YOU? Bathtub inside bedroom, hmmm... don't mind, cute huh?

As I always say "when you have a good time, time flies so quick" isn't it? Just 2 more sleep nights, then it's week-end! Gee... and mind you? Our weather is so fantastic this 3 past days had been. I feel so alive. People around me were enjoying the sunny days and I can see it on their faces that everybody are contented so long it's beautiful & sunny day.

Anyhow, beside all those happy faces, screaming kids and stressy colleagues, I can't stop thinking of my unreachable dreams. Hmmm... obviously, can't stop day-dreaming. "A white dreams of mine". My latest project is painting the panelled pine wall beside our stair up & down to the cellar. I demanded that this will be painted in white & my command must be obeyed too. Ha ha!!!

The photos above was my finds at "Empire Vintage" by Gardener & Mark in downunder. When I saw their vintage style, I was really fascinated how Lyn designed such an amazing design. A very well design, simple but an magnificent & classy designs.

Lyn chose a white-on-white colour scheme to keep the mood light. "I wanted different tones of white so it didn't have an 'all-too-perfect' appearance," she explains. "I didn't want it looking like a box, with every wall the same shade." The walls and flooring reflect the light, which floods in from windows all round the room. She softened the mood with faded fabrics, "most of the furniture is covered in old florals, soft stripes or pale greens," she says. "This house had to be light, nothing heavy or dark. All the items complement each other."

"Most of my interior decorating jobs are based on vintage pieces, so while I'm on the road, I keep an eye out for things that are in their original, rustic condition." This simple formula ensures that everything in the store and in her home is original. "I prefer pieces to be one-offs where possible," she comments, "although I do have some beautiful cushions that were handmade using old French linens, so anything new still has a vintage component." Lyn's store is constantly evolving, from vintage, rustic and industrial to florals, fabrics and pretty pieces. "I always have a theme," she explains, "it changes every six years or so and usually depends on the homes I'm decorating at the time. The shop evolves with me, as I'm always inspired by what I'm doing next. I'm working on a more masculine-style interior at the moment and the shop will begin to reflect that."
