Tapas in White & Crystal On SSS2...

While everybodys OUT dining...

Becoz, today is a Heart's Day... Aren't they? Ah, well, while everyones out, me & hubby we're home. One reason, is that he is on call duty and me? the lazy wife is contented the laziness and joining with my cousins dining, is not funny, if I am alone & GH is home working. While GH was at work early today, I was home chillaxing MY luxurious day. An absolutely worth day after the flu recovery. However, in the p.m. I was a bit busy due to our dinner for 2! I lil surprise.

 What do you think when you see my color scheme tonight? GH wonder why there's no color involve in this day, whilst millions wore red dresses, red this and that? But, in my world today, it doesn't mean Valentine's Day is red. It is how you mean it, am I right?

 This day 14th of February is almost a 3 decades since I met the wonderful best friend forever. A husband to lean on for better or for worst. Therefore, white with crystals in our table means, FOREVER trueness...

Mini cloches for black pepper & salt
Cut crystal wine goblets are from Swedish Orrefors & drinking glasses are Luminarc 
 Vintage silver coffee tablespoons

Sourdough pain riche
 Cream fraiché avocado topped by rainbow trout roe
 Smoked dill salmon w/ fresh cream cheese filings...
 Permented garlic cheese olives
 Dips are salmon roe sauce, dill cottage cheese w/ fresh lemon
 Shrimp sandwich
 Behind is permented cheese & permented artichokes
Simple centerpiece consist of white roses, baby breath & 2 heart candle holders



 
Rounding Up the candlelight table w/ the dessert... Apple vanilla & whipped cream


HOPE EVERYONE HAVE/HAD A GREAT HEART'S DAY...

    WOW, Chie...your buffet table is fabulous and the "yapas set" is gorgeous, just perfect for the yummy food you got there...aaand that bread..SWOONNNNN.... Hope you had a terrific VALENTINE'S DAY and your evening is better, hopefully, cozy and warm. We have a rainy season and it's kinda of cold...not like in your country, but cold evenings...so we're having Chinese take out, lol

    This is wonderful. I love the food.. every bit of it. I need to remember to put caviar with avocado. I bet it is delicious. The bread reminds me of a gondola.. so pretty. And your centerpiece steals the show. Hope your Valentine's was fabulous. xo marlis

    The tapas are wonderful for this romantic interlude - the cream cheese stuffed salmon is amazing, the shrimp looks divine! It is not just the food, but the thoughtful details and candles you use that adds so much to the romantic evening. You make a lovely couple!

    My favorite flowers are white roses .. the most beautiful bouquet I had ever received was from my neighbor when we lived in Holland .. mono tones of white and green, it was stunning.
    You set a gorgeous table and I am sure your sweetie enjoyed every morsel!
    You are a very cute couple .. my sweetie and I will be married 36 years come April .. phew ! LOL

SSS #5 & Award to Everybody!

What is Saturday/Sunday if we don't chase the most important shots for the w/end, huh? Luckily, when I just woke up, I saw a lil sunlight. Lil L shouted, too! "MUM! hurry... Welcome to Stockholm on my SHADOW SHOTS SUNDAY

Y es!!! Today, Sunday, me & hubby went to an early (08.00) Catholic Mass in the heart of Stockholm at Kungsträdgården (King's Garden). A quite and cosy mass w/ at least 50-60 attendeés. After the mass, we strolled in the park where you can see a blooming "Japansk körsbärsträd- JAPANESE CHERRY TREES" in it's high bloom. I feel so Asian §:-)) I meant, I felt am in Japan *giggles P LS. A dreary day ---Tea for 2 on My TS # 36, 2010

Hurray! Another day come to an END! Oh yeah... you heard it right, ladies? Hope everybody have/had a wonderful mid-week... in my part, it was a bit of a hectic week. New dealing system, new staffs & etc- etc... Anyhow, I tackled the problems that came across & continue my journey hugging it in a positive way. Feels a lot better rather than complaining. I just make my days lightening UP with my activities, dancing Zumba, Power Yoga, Driving lessons, Step Up & jogging... in this way, I gain more a healthy body & wellness of being ME. About you, Sweeties? What is your secret of lightening UP your days? FEELING GOOD IN A COZY TEA FOR 2 Chocking! An early snowfall! In my open porch... Hmmm.... duno---what am I thinking of? But, it must be cozy! From this? To this? A modified cloché for my goodies... ---------------------------------------------------------- And now, silverware parade is on the GO!
