Shopping on 4th of July in Stockholm

It is indeed fun...

I absolutely amazed that Sweden started to sell stuffs from the US.

Unfortunately, I couldn't purchase although I would love to have some of the goodies...

So, what I did? Well, I just drooled!!!

 
Another summer, another year of a quiet moment in Stockholm Underground/Metro...
This was taken about 10.30 am. I am not sure where are all the people go?
Lil Missy & MOTH are "People in Black". Father-in-law's funeral today.
MOTH decided to brought us to stroll in my fave shops...then head for lunch
Hmmmm... a liter of coffee? It'll keep me, indeed awake! LoL*
Suddenly, we ended in a shoe store...

MOTH asked Lil Missy if she wish to have one each style... Guess?
She said: "If I live in the US, I won't say no, but lving in Europe?"
In this stage, I would say, "thanks Dad, but no thanks"...
Then, we move to furniture shops...
Isn't this cute and patriotic? Summer LOVE---
 
Wherever I looked around, there are American flags, nautical theme and the colors...
I might say, "this is just starting. Hope more international products".
Then, when we came home...
 Cooked my own raspberry jam. This time, with sweet, fresh and lemony flavor...
See the jam ladle rester? It's from New Orleans... thanks cousin Glyn for the gift...
And I continued my evening with American theme...
*** Raspbery jam with lemon flavor
*** Rhurbarb-strawberry compote and dash of ginger

    Wow - Stockholm is as full of the red, white and blue as is the USA! I like the colors all by themselves and a represents the color of our flag, although I would not wear a pair of the stars and stripes Converse canvas shoes (they are just too tacky :). Your family is lovely indeed!

    Yum, yum, yum!! All of it! I don't think I'd wear those shoes though. I like my shoes to have a quiet kind of statement.

    An incredible amount of US merchandise for sale. I wonder if it will stay there as a permanent line after July 4. And I have never seen a train carriage so empty. Even after peak hour, it takes a short time for our trains to fill.

    It is surprising that so many US products are being sold outside the US. Who buys them? Tourists from US?

Another Subtle SS #3

Fröken Vinter håller sig länge i vinterlandet! Eller hur? Jag älskar verkligen det vita landskapet vi har nu. Herr Frost är underbar även om jag får inte den jag vill ha. Skuggorna §:-( När man tittar omkring sig genom fönster eller när man tar lite promenad, det känns att man är i sagolandet. Det enda som saknades är bara MINA släde och hundar som tar mig genom skogar... he he... DREAMING! IAF, jag hade fångat några bilder denna veckan och dagen... SOME PHOTOS CAPTURED A DAY PAST & TODAY... My 2 stalks orchid greeted me while standing tall in my kitchen window... GH lit my Kosta Boda candle glasses on the stairsteps down to cellar... Taken early morning a day ago, when sun shone in the lounge, quick and short WHAT? Lil L was with US? HALLELUJAH!!! HIBERNATING IN MY SSS #37 ON FATHER'S DAY EUROPE...

HAR INTE GJORT MYCKET IDAG... Just det! Ni hörde rätt. Jag har verkligen inte gjort speciell idag, lördagen den 7/11-09. Jag gick ner tidig imorse och kollade ute. Lite grått och tråkigt men det är ju höstmorgon? Så kom gubben min och sa att det är dax att plocka in dem sakerna ute. Tjohoo... kul eller NOT! HERE'S OUR DAY... Went our for a short walk & spotted a glimpse of the sun infront of me GH took away the summer furniture for this year My gazebo isn't appealing for now ...SO NAKED The porch of my garden retreat (cubby house) --- This is how it looks where my garden table is, no plants insight... Our sunchair is on the way to hibernate too... Falling autumn leaves are all in GH lawn... ************************************* After outside chores, I went down to my pantry to arrange them nicely. I was thinking what to do for dinner tomorrow as it's FATHER'S DAY I got an order that they want to have a taco buffeét. Their order must be obey. All cousin's ...
